On 9 July 2026, the Philippine Solar and Storage Energy Alliance (PSSEA) met with officials of the Department of Finance (DOF) for a courtesy visit and exploratory dialogue on the role of solar energy and battery energy storage in advancing the country`s economic and energy priorities.
The meeting was attended by DOF Undersecretary Ma. Angela Ignacio, and Assistant Secretary Ferdinand Pallera and Dale Santiago of OES - Economic Affairs. Representing PSSEA were Board Members Engr. Aibar Rabi Rashad F. Bibi of Go Solar and Jeff Calderon of Huawei Digital Power together with President Ping Mendoza, General Manager Mayet Pantastico, and the Secretariat Team.
