The Philippine Solar and Storage Energy Alliance (PSSEA) will co-present “The Future Grid: The Role of Distributed Solar and Storage,” a high-level session organized by the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) and held alongside the ASEAN Energy Business Forum and ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting.
The session will bring together policymakers, grid operators, industry leaders, and investors to discuss how distributed solar, battery storage, microgrids, and demand-side solutions can help address grid constraints and support greater renewable energy integration across ASEAN.
The discussion will explore practical solar-plus-storage applications for islands, remote communities, and industrial users, while examining opportunities for private-sector expertise and investment to contribute to grid modernization.
For PSSEA, the session provides an opportunity to bring the Philippine solar and storage industry perspective into a regional conversation on building more flexible, resilient, and renewable-ready power systems.
What’s next: PSSEA will continue working with regional and international partners to strengthen knowledge exchange and advance practical solutions that can support energy security, affordability, and sustainability in the Philippines and across the region.
